The Foundry will be showing Storm at IBC as a preview much farther along then just a few months ago at NAB. We now have a price , a release date and a free 3 month trial along with a ton of new features. I have been lucky enough to be part of the a small team giving information and feature requests for development on Storm. The Foundry really gets it when it comes to interacting with the user base and providing tools we can use.

Some notable features are support for MC Color panel, RED Rocket support , Color processing in floating point,multi format for going out to QT,DPX and EXR as well as FCP workflow.

This is a short test with the tripod in the same spot switching between prime lenses to show how the crop affects the 7D.

We go from 20mm all the way to 100mm.

Looks like a good test from Mike and a good way to get an idea on what you might look at for lens choice.

The O-Box WM joins OConnor’s new family of tools to work around the selection of new digital cameras entering the market. Other products in OConnors camera accessory lineup include the innovative CFF-1 Follow Focus and O-Grips Handgrip System.
The OConnor O-Box WM is a two-stage wide angle mattebox designed around the 16:9 format full-size sensor. Surprisingly compact, it, accommodates lenses up to 18mm (and in some cases wider). This precision mechanical device adeptly accepts up to three filters: two in top-loading filter frames (two 4×4 and two 4×5.65 inch frames are included). The rear frame is rotatable 360 degrees. A third 138mm round filter sleekly fits in the bellows.

And it does something no other commercial mattebox on the market does!
