I meant to post this as soon as I found it on Jess Gibson’s site Jess Gibson.com but I was lazy .For those not in the snowboard/skateboard world Jess was one of the ROBOT FOOD team who made some amazing snowboard videos with even better soundtracks and amazing filming.(Afterlame is forever on my iPhone vid playlist)

Anyway this video with Aaron Draplin is best summed up by watching it .WARNING TO THE KIDDIES .THIS DOES HAVE A FEW F*** BOMBS DROPPED.

You never know when you might need that point and shoot or the little ability to use the movie record but this video shows why in today’s world carrying your camera can catch some amazing things.

Tom Guilmette happens to shoot the Red Sox’s for a living and he does so with some pretty monstrous gear. Tom has a nice little Vimeo page with a run down of the big Sony HDC-910 he uses. Check out the zoom rocker on this thing its faster then Flash Gordon.

Tom is also a proud owner of a Sony EX-1 and a Letus 35mm adapter which I have as well for my HVX-200.Nate(my blog partner in crime) has been a long time user of the Red Rock kit which is another great choice when looking for  35mm adapter . Here is the HD link and little story on Tom’s Vimeo page Tom\’s HD Vimeo page
